LAURA & NEIL - JUNE 2, 2007

We became very fond of this couple as we worked with them to produce the photo montage to be shown at their rehearsal dinner, and this past weekend we had the pleasure of being the videographers at their wedding.

Laura and Neil, and their family and friends, are so much fun, and they made us feel like part of the family.  The entire day was a blast!

The ceremony was beautiful.  It was held at the Cathedral of Incarnation, which never ceases to amaze us every time we enter the building.  The church was full of family and friends who gathered to watch this great couple get married.

The reception was held at the Downtown Hilton Hotel.  The ballroom was bathed in soft light, decorated elegantly, and filled with guests who were genuinely happy for the wedding couple.

Then the party began.  The band was HOT!  And the dance floor was packed with everyone dancing and having a great time. 

Several members of the wedding party got onstage to perform their own special dances and songs for Laura and Neil.  A raw footage clip of Amzie and Ben's performance can be viewed here.  Even though the song is called "Don't Feel LIke Dancing" - I think you can see that they were definitely in the mood to dance! Their act was a hoot!  Everybody loved it!   Even Laura and Neil made it on stage before the evening was over.   (You can also view a clip of the "Footloose" performance at the same site.) 

A great time was had by all, including Cheryl and Amanda who stayed until Laura and Neil made their exit amidst rose petals and onto a horse-drawn carriage.

Did I mention how happy Laura and Neil were?  I guess that goes without saying.  Best wishes to Laura and Neil for a long and happy life together!
