Amanda, one of my videographers and editors, is stretching her talent in the video biz.  Her first love is weddings, but she also has a desire to tell baby stories.

One of the first ones she produced was for our very own Laura.  You may remember that Laura is our cousin and poster girl for McNeal Video, and now she's a mommy.  She gave birth to a beautiful baby girl named Harper Ann on March 29th of this year.

To get her baby video venture started, Amanda took shots of Laura's pre-baby belly.  Then, after Laura went into labor, Amanda was there to shoot the family in the waiting room, Laura's labor, and her husband, Josh, being very patient at her side.  Once Harper was born, Amanda was the first in the room to catch the family's reaction when they saw Harper for the first time.  Pretty amazing!  See for yourself in the clip below.

Amanda is customizing packages for expectant mothers depending on how much coverage they want for this big event.  She is offering everything from pre-baby coverage to labor, reaction of new mom and dad once the baby is delivered,  family reactions, and going home with baby for the first time.  These videos can be used for baby announcements, too -- what a great idea!

She hasn't come up with a name yet for her new venture and needs ideas.  If you have a suggestion, feel free to leave it in the comments section.  Also, look for her upcoming website/blog with new clips of other baby videos.

To our brides-to-be:  Don't worry -- you'll still see Amanda at your wedding . . . and you may even see Laura there too since she is now working part-time with us again!
